I am an Assistant Professor in the DIG team at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. My research focuses on evaluating and aligning large language models, with particular attention to multilingualism, cultural awareness, diversity and creativity. I completed my PhD at École Polytechnique and Inria Paris under the supervision of Chloé Clavel and Michalis Vazirgiannis. During my PhD, I was affiliated with the ALMANaCH and DaSciM teams. I previously earned an engineering degree from École Polytechnique and an undergraduate degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and worked as a research intern at Apple AIML.
I come from Beijing and have lived in New York and Shanghai before settling in Paris. Outside research, I enjoy learning languages, slow travel through rural areas, painting, making pottery and writing creative nonfiction.
I have served as a reviewer for ACL, EMNLP, EACL and the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research.
